Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
1. Scope
This policy forms part of the InfoSync Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses the InfoSync Connect app, the website and the related network connectivity service. By creating an account or completing a purchase you agree to this policy; if you do not agree, stop using the service.
2. No abuse of the service
You must not use the service for any of the following, and must not help anyone else do so:
- activity that violates the law of your jurisdiction or of the country or region where the network nodes are located, or publishing such unlawful content;
- downloading or distributing material that infringes intellectual property rights, including unauthorised distribution of copyrighted works;
- bot registration, spam posting, bulk unsolicited email, mass link distribution, network attacks or fraud;
- publishing, transmitting or storing illegal, threatening, defamatory, gambling, obscene, pornographic or otherwise unlawful information;
- using data without authorisation, or accessing servers or accounts without authorisation; entering public or private computer systems without permission and deleting, altering or adding stored information;
- probing, scanning or testing the vulnerabilities of the service or of related networks and systems, or other activity that damages network security;
- interfering with or disrupting the normal operation of the service or this website, deliberately spreading malicious programs or viruses, or forging TCP/IP packet names or parts of names;
- using the service to run denial-of-service attacks, port scans, vulnerability exploitation or traffic amplification attacks against third parties;
- exploiting any vulnerability in the system for your own benefit or for the benefit of others.
3. Sanctioned countries, regions and persons
The service may not be used in sanctioned countries or regions, or by sanctioned persons. You represent and agree that:
- you are not located in, or controlled by, a country or region subject to comprehensive US sanctions (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine; the list may change);
- you are not a person identified on any government sanctions list, including the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List, the US Commerce Department Entity List, or European Union or United Nations sanctions lists;
- you will not resell, transfer, re-export or otherwise make the service available to those countries, regions or persons, or for their benefit;
- you will not use the service for weapons proliferation, military end uses or other export-controlled end uses.
If we reasonably believe your use breaches these rules, we may suspend or terminate the service and report to, or cooperate with, the competent authorities as required by law. The full clause is in Section 13 of the Terms of Service.
4. No circumventing copyright and other regional restrictions
You must not use the service to circumvent geographic restrictions set by content providers on the basis of copyright, licensing agreements or legal requirements, including:
- crossing the regional licensing boundaries of streaming platforms, app stores, games or sports broadcasts to obtain content that is not licensed in your region;
- falsifying your location to circumvent a platform's copyright licensing, content rating or account-region restrictions;
- circumventing or defeating the technical measures used to enforce those restrictions (such as geo-blocking, DRM or access controls).
The service is intended for lawful uses such as cross-border business communication, academic research, data retrieval, development and testing, and access to publicly available internet resources. You are responsible for whether you are licensed to access the content you request, and you bear any copyright or other liability arising from circumventing regional restrictions.
5. Resource use and accounts
- Do not download torrents or use P2P tools such as eMule, Xunlei (Thunder) or FlashGet in a way that generates excessive bandwidth consumption, and do not occupy node bandwidth automatically for long periods in a way that affects other users;
- Do not resell, rent or share the service (paid or free) beyond the terms of your plan, including free trials;
- Do not transfer accounts (including by inheritance), rent them or sell them; the right to use an account belongs only to the original registrant;
- Do not connect using unofficial, cracked or modified clients.
6. Enforcement
If we discover or reasonably suspect a breach of this policy, we may take one or more of the following measures in proportion to the circumstances:
- issue a notice and require correction within a stated period;
- limit bandwidth, speed or available nodes;
- suspend or terminate the account and the service without a refund (under Section 4 of the Refund Policy);
- remove the offending content or related records;
- preserve relevant logs and evidence, and provide them where required by law or by a competent authority;
- report suspected criminal conduct to law enforcement and cooperate with the investigation.
If your breach of this policy or of the Terms of Service causes loss to InfoSync or its partners, you are liable for that loss.
7. Reporting and appeals
If you find someone using the service to abuse it, or you believe our handling of your account was wrong, email support@infosyncadx.com with the account, the time and the details. We reply within 15 business days. Privacy and data-protection requests go to privacy@infosyncadx.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are published on this page with an effective date, and material changes are announced in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
